Hoboken St. Patrick's Day Parade

hobokenparade.jpg

It a strange sort of way, Hoboken, New Jersey celebrates St. Patrick's Day on the wrong day of the year. For 2008, it happens this Saturday, March 1st.

Jersey folks know how to party, especially in Hoboken. It is one of the only places on earth where you can start drinking at noon and be in good company.

For the St. Patrick's Day festivities there is a parade, tons of beer and a broad variety of street vendor food. The bars and pubs all open up early so you can basically stay drunk all day and all night long. By celebrating early, the Hobokeans still get to party hard with the New Yorkers when the rest of the world celebrates the drunken holiday.

If you're in the tri-state area, you must check it out the Hoboken early St. Patrick's Day parties on Saturday!
