It was a shocking elimination show on Wednesday night's installment of "American Idol" as the contestant with only one name, Chikezie, was voted off the show.

Chikezie was joined in the bottom three by Saiesha Mercado and Jason Castro. Castro was a bit arrogant about the whole thing, saying he expected it to be a shocker after Tuesday's live "American Idol" performances. That's a bit cocky, don't ya' think? Jason, was, however the first one sent back to safety. I secretly wanted him to get eliminated.

When Saiesha and Chikezie were the only two standing, Ryan Seacrest went through the dramatics before announcing that Saiesha was safe for another week on "American Idol" while it was "the end of the road" for Chikezie.

The Top 9 "American Idol" contestants will perform songs from Dolly Parton next week.
