College Football Player Heath Benedict found dead
College football superstar Heath Benedict was found dead on a couch in his home on Wednesday.
Police say no foul play is suspected in Benedict's death.
Heath, a two-time Little All-American offensive lineman from Newberry College in South Carolina, had planned to enter the NFL draft.
Benedict, a 6'6", 320-pound junior, was redshirted at Tennessee in 2002 before moving to Newberry. He was a native of the Netherlands. Heath played high school football at the Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J.
Cops say his Benedict's body was taken to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of his death. He was found dead Wednesday evening. He was 24-years-old.
