Woman accused of sexually abusing 14-year-old girl arrested

Becky Jo Tatum, the woman accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl was arrested on Thursday.
Tatum was taken into custody at a Central Ohio apartment building early in the day.
Police said a phone call from an anonymous source led them to the southeast Columbus complex.
Detectives spotted Tatum's car and waited for her to come out.
"We observed her coming out of the apartment and into her car," said Bexley police Det. Bob Cuschleg. "We kind of took her by surprise. She didn't see us approach, so she was a little dazed."
Police issued a warrant for Tatum's arrest earlier this week after the allegations surfaced in a search warrant.
The warrant revealed that the 14-year-old girl was at Tatum's home earlier this month when the sexual misconduct evidently occurred. The teenager said that she "had been drinking and had a buzz" prior to the incident, according to the warrant.
"I love my children very much," Tatum said as she was led into the Franklin County Jail. "Talk to my attorneys about anything further."
Tatum was taken into custody the day after Crimestoppers offered a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to her arrest.
