We may have broke the original story a couple of weeks ago, but Star Jones and Al Reynolds have evidently been "over" for about a year.

Some of Big Gay Al's friends spilled the beans to the NY Daily News.

Here's what Reynolds' friends told the News:

The couple gave up about a year ago after a huge fight in Saint-Tropez. Star was tired of being Al's "sugar mama!"

"She paid for everything. He never even took out his wallet," a pal said.

"When he is in Miami, he's always on the beach or at the pool at the Delano," a pal in South Beach tells the News. The "friend" says Reynolds works on his tan all day, then parties hard at night. "He hits Mansion, Privé, Mokai and the Florida Room at the Delano four nights a week."

"Al always has a posse of hot young dudes and scantily clad women with him," our spy says. "He brings strippers back from Gold Rush strip bar to the Delano and dirty dances all night long."

His fellow homos and fag hags? I can't wait for this to go to court!!
