Baseball player Scott Spiezio pleads guilty to DUI

Baseballer Scott Spiezio was slapped with three years probation, a trip to AA and community service stemming from a December car crash in California.
As a part of his plea deal for drinking and driving, prosecutors let Spiezio off the hook for the aggravated assault and assault/ battery charges.
A spokeswoman for county prosecutors says an attorney entered the plea for the baseball player Monday.
Spiezio recently agreed to a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves.
