Senator Stabenow's husband admits he hired prostitute

The husband of United States Senator Debbie Stabenow, Thomas Athans, admitted to cops that he paid $150 for a 20-year-old hooker.
Athans told police the prostitute performed oral sex on him at a Michigan hotel.
The senator's husband was confronted by police on February 26 after departing the Residence Inn in Troy after investigators had been watching the hotel after previous reports of prostitution in Room 1822.
The Smoking Gun snagged a copy of the the Troy Police Department report in which Athans told detective that he hired the prostitute, Alycia Martin, on craigslist.
Athans hasn't been charged with anything, but Martin was charged with one count of prostitution.
Martin admitted to cops that she was a stripper, but she claims she had only been "doing this for one week." Cops confiscated condoms, K-Y jelly, and a "pink marital aid" from Martin's hotel room.
Athans is founder of TalkUSA Radio, a liberal radio network. He married Stabenow, a second-term Democrat from Michigan, in 2003.
