Nina Garcia picked up a job at Marie Claire

Nina Garcia has a new job! After getting canned at Elle, Fashion Week Daily is reporting that Marie Claire has picked up Garcia as their fashion director.
Garcia will start in September. Nina will replace Tracy Taylor, who has left the magazine.
"[Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Cole] is very strategic and now has her senior staff in place," the inside source said. "It's the last in a series of high profile hires Joanna is making."
The plan is to take Garcia to make the rounds of fashion weeks with the Marie Claire team. An official announcement on Nina's new gig could come as soon as the end of the week.
While the show was at Bravo, Nina also served as a weekly judge on "Project Runway."
