FBI busts mob bosses in early morning raid
The FBI busted the bosses of the Colombo organized crime family early Wednesday morning.
Thomas "Tommy Shots" Gioeli, identified by authorities as the Colombo crime family acting boss, and eight others were taken in by federal and state law enforcement agencies in early morning raids Wednesday. The charges against these members of the Colombo crime family include racketeering, murder, robbery, extortion, narcotics trafficking, and loansharking.
Cops say they already have the real Columbo boss, Carmine "Junior" Persico; but he is still running things from "the inside."
