WOMEN FOR OBAMA? New polls out this week show that women may have decided to rally behind Barack Obama as opposed to John McCain after Hillary Clinton dropped out of the race. Obama led McCain 51%-38% in Gallup polling of 2,263 registered female voters June 5-9. The 13-percentage-point lead among women was up from 5 points the previous week, before the Democratic nomination ended. Could this be proof that any sort of change is enough for party unity?
